It gives us great pleasure to announce that Gunstons Attorneys will now be known as Gunston Strandvik Mlambo Attorneys – with an even greater commitment to the values that we have become known for.
The firm was founded by Grant Gunston in 1995, and was able to attract the talents of Ulrik Strandvik as far back as 2001. Since then, Ulrik has been very much part of building the ethos, values and legal services of the firm – and his connection with and attention to the needs of our clients are legendary. In fact, his history with the firm goes back even further to his law studies, when Grant recognised Ulrik as someone who would resonate with and contribute to building the kind of firm that was emerging.
Ulrik has been a director of the firm since 2006, and, together with Grant, was instrumental in diversifying the firm’s legal offerings and client base. Over the years we have thought about the pros and cons of brand continuity and simplicity on the one hand, and on the other hand, communicating the growth in the firm and recognising Ulrik’s contribution to it. Our rebranding has attempted to combine all these elements. We have kept a similar look and feel to our artwork, and our by-lines, including “fresh thinking attorneys” and “smart attentive value” which embody our approach to law and legal service, continue very intentionally.
